Shrimp & Crab Stick Cabbage Omelet
A delicious, protein-rich vegetable omelet made with shrimp, crab sticks, cabbage, carrots, eggs, and cheese. Perfect for a quick breakfast, lunch, or light dinner.
📝 Ingredients
For the Seafood:
150–200 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
4–5 crab sticks, cut into strips
1 teaspoon cooking wine (optional)
A pinch of salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
For the Omelet:
2 large eggs
1 cup shredded cabbage
½ medium carrot, cut into thin strips
¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
2–3 tablespoons shredded cheese
1–2 tablespoons cooking oil
👨🍳 Instructions
Step 1: Season the Shrimp
Place the peeled shrimp in a bowl.
Add a little cooking wine, salt, and black pepper.
Mix well and let it marinate for a few minutes.
Step 2: Cook the Seafood
Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium heat.
Add a little oil, then add the shrimp and crab sticks.
Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes, until the shrimp is cooked through.
Remove the seafood from the pan and set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the Egg Mixture
Crack 2 eggs into a bowl.
Add salt, black pepper, and chili flakes.
Beat the eggs until well combined.
Set aside.
Step 4: Stir-Fry the Vegetables
Add a little oil to the same pan.
Add the shredded carrots and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
Add the shredded cabbage.
Season with a little salt and black pepper.
Stir-fry until the vegetables soften but still retain some texture.
Step 5: Shape the Vegetable Omelet
Spread the cooked vegetables evenly across the pan.
Shape them into a neat rectangle.
Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the vegetables.
Cook over medium-low heat until the egg mixture begins to set.
Step 6: Cook Until Firm
Allow the egg to cook until the bottom is firm and lightly golden.
Carefully flip the vegetable omelet.
Cook the other side until fully set and lightly browned.
Step 7: Add the Cheese and Seafood
Sprinkle shredded cheese over one half of the omelet.
Place the cooked shrimp and crab sticks on top.
Fold the omelet in half to cover the filling.
Step 8: Finish and Serve
Sprinkle a little chili powder or chili flakes over the top, if desired.
Cover the pan briefly to allow the cheese to melt.
Carefully transfer the omelet to a plate.
Serve hot and enjoy!
